TITLE: Talent Acquisition Partner, Sr.

JOB OVERVIEW: The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for implementing recruiting and sourcing processes, strategies, and solutions to attract top talent to the organization. Serves as a professional member of the Human Resources team and independently recruits candidates for a wide range of roles at Valley Medical Center and the Clinic Network including hard-to-fill critical positions. Carry out full life cycle recruiting processes while developing innovative recruitment strategies and effective marketing techniques to attract, screen and identify qualified candidates.

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

WORK HOURS: Typically, Monday - Friday. Some flexibility may be required occasionally to meet department and client needs.

PREREQUISITES

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or another related field or equivalent, required. An additional four years of relevant and applicable experience may replace degree requirement.
  • Minimum six years' experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, required.
  • Minimum two years of experience recruiting in a healthcare setting required, preferably in both a clinic and hospital setting.
  • Minimum two years' experience in candidate sourcing, required.
  • Experience working with leadership teams and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work independently and in teams with good problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, produce accurate work, and meet deadlines; ability to function in a setting with a wide variety of duties and numerous interruptions.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Essential Responsibilities and Competencies:
  • Partner with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition and Compensation team to build comprehensive recruitment plans, clarify required job skills and competencies, and use the best sourcing strategies and techniques for each job category.
  • Takes ownership of entire recruiting process and holding managers accountable to following standard processes.
  • Educate and create trainings for new leaders on Valley's Recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Implement recruitment strategies, train hiring managers on recruitment and interview processes, and ensure effective employment practices to attract and retain diverse talent.
  • Develop consultative relationships with hiring managers and executive leadership, providing regular updates to talent acquisition leadership, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and closing strategies for clinical, administrative, and technical positions.
  • Responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process, including but not limited to working with hiring managers to determine job requirements, sourcing appropriate candidates, screening, coordinating, and conducting interviews, negotiating and closing offers, and overseeing the new hire onboarding process.
  • Proactively engage with VMC staff and leadership to develop strategies for locating and attracting the best candidates for each position.
  • Review resumes against job requirements, conduct candidate interviews to qualify them within the position requirements and share organization information, compensation package, position details, and expectations.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate salary, start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Determine job offer compensation for union employees in alignment with established pay practices and relevant collective bargaining agreements.
  • Source candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military, and professional outreach.
  • Oversee and provide reports to Director Talent Acquisition and Onboarding on expenditures related to advertisements and job postings.
  • Manage posted requisitions using Applicant Tracking Software.
  • Enter, track and update all candidate correspondence in ATS to ensure accurate reporting and policy compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring leaders and stakeholders on the status of requisition.
  • Verify that applicant licensure is current and active with the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with identified schools and universities to strengthen recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in both in-person and virtual recruiting events such as college recruiting, industry conferences, and career fairs.
  • Develop new strategies and programs to attract candidates and maintain a talent pipeline.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and process to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain a focus on candidate experience throughout all phases of the recruiting process.
  • Maintain understanding of company hiring policies and procedures.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Partners and HR Managers with various special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
