WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role is responsible for filling crucial organizational roles, including entry-level and high-volume requisitions.
This role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 days per week in office at our Bellevue (Factoria neighborhood) headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates closely with hiring managers to comprehensively understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles, facilitating strategic discussions to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
  • Conducts thorough reviews and assessments of applicant qualifications, including education, experience, and training, to identify top talent for open positions within AAA Washington.
  • Facilitates the gathering and processing necessary paperwork and documentation to support the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinates and conducts pre-screening meetings and interviews with candidates, utilizing structured interview techniques to assess competencies and qualifications effectively.
  • Administers assessments and gathers feedback from interviewers to evaluate candidate suitability and provide comprehensive insights for hiring decisions.
  • Provides detailed information to candidates regarding job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities within AAA Washington.
  • Manages requisitions and candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of recruitment activities.
  • Develops compelling job advertisements and postings, utilizing targeted language and platforms to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Proactively sources candidates through various channels, including online platforms, professional networks, and industry associations, to build a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Prepares and extends job offers to select candidates, managing negotiations and ensuring a smooth transition throughout the offer acceptance process. Notifies applicants of selection decisions and provides constructive feedback as needed.
  • Maintains proactive communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring transparency, clarity, and alignment on timelines, expectations, and next steps.
  • Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
  • Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years’ experience in employee talent acquisition in a human resource department environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for the IT field

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • SHRM certification preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience successfully collaborating professionally and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish, nurture, and optimize key internal and external partnerships and influence organizational change.

SALARY

  • Pay Range: $32.86-$39.42 per hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Hybrid work from home and office required.
  • The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.

  • Equipment used: Computer, phone, various virtual technologies and programs, other office equipment.
  • Travel: Minimal travel (< 25%) may be required.
