  • Experience with recruiting systems and collaboration tools such as Greenhouse, ModernLoop, Google Workspace, and Slack, with curiosity about automation and AI-enabled recruiting tools
  • Experience supporting recruiting in a high-growth or globally distributed technology company
  • Experience coordinating complex technical, GTM, or executive interview processes
  • Experience identifying and implementing improvements to recruiting workflows or coordination processes
  • Comfort using data, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual work

What the job involves

  • This is initially a 6 month contract position with the potential to extend and/or convert to a full-time role based on business needs and performance
  • Reporting initially to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you’ll partner with Talent Acquisition Partners, Sourcers, hiring managers, interview teams, and candidates to keep recruiting processes running smoothly and efficiently
  • Over time, this role is expected to align under our Talent Acquisition Operations & Programs function as that team evolves
  • This is more than a scheduling role. You’ll help create a consistent, high-quality candidate and hiring team experience while identifying opportunities to improve processes and help Talent Acquisition scale effectively
  • Coordinate phone screens, assessments, panel interviews, and other interview stages across candidates, interviewers, and time zones
  • Manage complex scheduling and changing priorities with a high degree of accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Ensure candidates and interview teams have the information and support they need throughout the interview process
  • Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, process gaps, and potential delays to keep searches moving forward
  • Create a thoughtful, consistent, and high-touch candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Serve as a key point of contact, providing candidates with clear, timely communication and support
  • Anticipate candidate needs and ensure interactions are organized, welcoming, and reflective of Tailscale’s culture
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners to keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the process
  • Build strong working relationships with Talent Acquisition Partners, Sourcers, hiring managers, interview teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Support hiring teams with interview logistics, process questions, pre-briefs, debriefs, and other coordination needs
  • Communicate proactively when issues arise, partnering with the appropriate stakeholders to keep hiring processes moving forward
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, candidate records, interview plans, workflows, and documentation across our recruiting systems
  • Identify recurring inefficiencies and recommend improvements that simplify processes for candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations on process improvements, reporting, documentation, tools, and automation
  • Support the adoption of recruiting technology and AI-enabled tools that improve efficiency and team effectiveness
  • Support Talent Acquisition programs and projects that improve candidate experience, recruiting effectiveness, and team scalability
  • Maintain recruiting resources, templates, documentation, and team knowledge
  • Contribute to employer brand, referrals, recruiting events, and other talent initiatives as business needs evolve
