Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the full recruiting process by providing an organized, candidate-focused experience while partnering closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and HR. This role combines recruiting coordination, candidate screening, interview and offer administration, talent acquisition analytics, and early-career program support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and able to effectively communicate recruiting activity and insights to managers and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Candidate Experience
- Review resumes and applications against established job requirements and identify qualified candidates for consideration.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, interest, and alignment with the role.
- Coordinate interviews across hiring managers, interview teams, and candidates, including onsite and virtual interviews.
- Manage interview logistics, calendars, candidate communications, and follow-up throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate offer processes, including offer preparation, approvals, candidate communication, and acceptance tracking.
- Initiate and monitor background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure candidates receive a consistent, professional, and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep searches moving efficiently and identify potential process delays.
Talent Acquisition Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze recruiting activity, pipeline movement, interview activity, offers, time-to-fill, candidate flow, and other key TA metrics.
- Develop and maintain Talent Acquisition dashboards that provide managers with clear visibility into open positions, candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, and hiring progress.
- Translate recruiting data into concise insights and communicate trends, bottlenecks, and areas requiring manager attention.
- Prepare recurring recruiting reports and dashboards for hiring managers and HR leadership.
- Maintain data accuracy and consistency across ATS and recruiting reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes based on data and operational trends.
- Help establish and maintain standardized TA metrics and reporting practices.
Career Fairs & Early-Career Programs
- Support career fairs, recruiting events, and other talent attraction activities as needed.
- Assist with apprentice, intern, and other early-career programs, including candidate coordination, interview scheduling, communications, and onboarding activities.
- Help maintain relationships and recruiting processes associated with schools, workforce programs, and early-career talent initiatives.
- Support planning and execution of campus and early-career recruiting events.
Recruiting Operations & Process Support
- Coordinate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders to ensure recruiting activities are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain recruiting documentation, templates, trackers, and process resources.
- Monitor open requisitions and proactively follow up on outstanding actions.
- Help identify opportunities to streamline recruiting coordination and improve the overall hiring process.
- Support additional Talent Acquisition projects, process improvements, and reporting initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, HR, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing resumes and conducting phone screens.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and HR partners.
- Experience working with an ATS or HR/recruiting technology.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate recruiting data.
- Comfortable working with recruiting metrics, spreadsheets, and reporting.
- Experience creating or maintaining dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information appropriately.
