Summary
Zepto Life Technology is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to provide recruiting, onboarding, and routine HR administrative support during a temporary period of HR coverage. This position will primarily support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer coordination, background checks, and new-hire onboarding. The role may also assist with routine HR administration and employee support as needed. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, communicating professionally with candidates and employees, and partnering directly with hiring managers and company leadership.
This is a temporary, part-time, non-exempt position expected to average approximately 5–10 hours per week, with no guaranteed minimum number of hours.
Essential Duties
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, qualifications, and hiring priorities.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other appropriate channels.
- Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screening.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with candidate evaluation and interview processes.
- Coordinate offer processes within established company guidelines and required approvals.
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers regarding recruiting progress.
- Lead recruiting for specialized technical, scientific, laboratory, engineering, and commercial positions.
Onboarding & Pre-Employment
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding activities from offer acceptance through start date.
- Coordinate background checks and other applicable pre-employment requirements.
- Ensure required new-hire documentation is completed and maintained.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with HRIS onboarding and employee record administration.
- Help ensure new employees have the information and resources needed for a successful start.
Routine HR Administration
- Assist with routine HR administrative tasks as needed.
- Respond to routine employee HR questions within the scope of the position.
- Support HR documentation and recordkeeping.
- Assist with other temporary HR projects and miscellaneous office tasks as assigned.
- Escalate complex employee relations, compliance, leave, accommodation, or legal matters to company leadership or designated HR resources.
Administrative & Office Support
- Assist with general office and administrative tasks based on business needs.
- Coordinate and prepare company shipments, including preparing packages, labels, and related documentation as needed.
- Assist with printing, scanning, copying, filing, and organizing documents and materials.
- Assist with business travel arrangements, including coordinating flights, hotels, transportation, and related logistics as requested.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, events, visitors, and other company activities as needed.
- Assist with ordering, organizing, or coordinating office supplies and materials as requested.
- Support general office organization and day-to-day administrative needs.
- Assist with other temporary administrative or operational projects as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- Experience coordinating background checks and pre-employment activities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines independently with limited supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Strong follow-through and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Comfortable working in a small-company environment where priorities and responsibilities may change based on business needs.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience recruiting within biotechnology, healthcare, laboratory, medical device, CRO, life sciences, engineering, or other technical environments.
- Experience working in a small or growing company.
- Experience with BambooHR or another HRIS.
- Experience recruiting specialized technical, scientific, laboratory, engineering, or commercial positions.
- Experience with HR administration beyond talent acquisition.
- Experience providing general administrative or office support in a small-company environment.

Work Environment
