Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for managing and executing the organization’s talent acquisition, training, and development programs.
Reporting to the VP of People, this role will manage full-cycle recruiting across the organization, with a particular emphasis on commercial and revenue-generating positions, while coordinating cross-functional training and development initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who combines strong sourcing and relationship-building skills with the organization and follow-through needed to execute effective company-wide talent programs.
This is an execution-focused role. The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager will work within the broader People strategy established by the VP of People and organizational leadership and will be responsible for translating those priorities into well-run, scalable recruiting and development programs.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across departments and levels, from position intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Lead recruiting efforts across the organization, with a particular emphasis on commercial and revenue-generating roles, as well as Finance, Product, Operations, and other corporate functions.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates and develop strong pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, establish structured interview processes, and facilitate effective candidate evaluation and selection.
  • Manage job postings, screening, interviews, candidate communications, references, and offer processes while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Manage recruiting activity and documentation within the ATS and track key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and practices and coordinate external recruiting partners as needed.

Training & Development

  • Manage the execution of company-wide training and development programs across departments and functions.
  • Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to coordinate training needs, content, schedules, materials, participation, and delivery.
  • Coordinate new-hire, role-specific, manager, professional development, compliance, systems, and other organizational training programs.
  • Support the execution of product training to strengthen employee knowledge of the organization’s products, platforms, services, and customer experience.
  • Maintain training calendars, materials, records, completion tracking, and program reporting.
  • Gather feedback and evaluate program effectiveness to identify opportunities to improve training delivery and the employee learning experience.
  • Support onboarding, employee development, performance, and other talent programs as directed by the VP of People.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressive recruiting, talent acquisition, or related HR experience.
  • Extensive experience recruiting commercial and revenue-generating professionals, including proactive sourcing and engagement of passive candidates.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and levels.
  • Experience coordinating and executing training programs across multiple departments and functional areas.
  • Strong project and process management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities from planning through completion.
  • Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, HR technology, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

  • Experience with Paycor ATS and recruiting tools.
  • Recruiting experience within ticketing, live entertainment, events, sports, music, technology, or related industries.
  • Experience coordinating or delivering product training, particularly for technology platforms, SaaS products, or ticketing systems.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and proactive sourcing tools.
  • Experience with learning management systems or other employee training platforms.

Salary: $100,000-$115,000
