What This Job Actually Is

When Midway Staffing wins a new client, somebody has to make the launch actually happen. That's you.

Picture week one at a new warehouse account: the client wants 40 people on the floor by Monday, the recruiters are working the phones, half the new hires have questions in Spanish, and the site supervisor needs someone who can answer for all of it. You're that person. You're on site, running the checklist, onboarding workers, solving the small problems before they become big ones, and keeping the client and our internal teams on the same page.

This is not a desk job. You'll travel up to 75% of the time to launch new sites and support field operations. Some weeks are calm and organized. Launch weeks are not. If you're the kind of person who gets energy from walking into a half-built operation and leaving it running, this role was written for you.

Who We Are

Midway Staffing is one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country. We place people in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, production, and skilled trades roles, and we make hundreds of placements every week. Clients stay with us because we follow through, we don't quit when a launch gets messy, and we win as a team. If those three things describe how you already work, you'll fit in here.

What You'll Do

  • Own the implementation timeline for new client sites: project tasks, milestones, kickoff and status meetings, deliverables
  • Be the go-between for the client and our operations, recruiting, HR, and compliance teams
  • Work launches on site: onboard temporary workers, set up logistics and operational resources, get the account stood up right
  • Partner with recruiters to hit staffing numbers on deadline, without cutting corners on quality or compliance
  • Keep clients and internal teams in the loop with clear, consistent communication, and resolve issues as they come up
  • Support client expansions into new markets, from recruitment through site prep
  • Build relationships with local community organizations and agencies to strengthen our candidate pipelines
  • Track implementation metrics and help report on how each launch performed
  • Keep everything inside company policy, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent in English and Spanish. This isn't a nice-to-have. You'll use both languages every day, on the floor and with clients.
  • 2-4 years in staffing, recruiting, or workforce coordination, ideally in light industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Someone who can juggle competing priorities under real deadlines and still communicate clearly, in writing and in person
  • Comfortable in front of clients and comfortable asking internal teams for what the launch needs
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ATS or workforce management tool experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. We care more about what you've built than where you studied.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 75%

What You Get

  • Career advancement inside a fast-growing company that promotes people who deliver
  • Competitive base plus placement commissions and quarterly bonus potential
  • Hands-on training from people who've launched these sites themselves
  • Medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees
  • Weekly pay
