Senior Technical Recruiter
Join Sustainable Talent as a Senior Technical/Software Recruiter supporting our automotive client's Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team. You'll help recruit the technical and software talent driving the future of electric mobility, digital products, and industry-leading experiences for electric vehicle customers.
You'll support a customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial, and data-driven organization working in an agile, fast-moving environment to help pioneer the future of electric vehicles.
This is a full-time (W-2) contract role based in, Long Beach, CA or Palo Alto, CA, with REMOTE work options. We offer competitive pay $70/hr - $80/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, from Hiring Manager intake through offer and close.
- Recruit and source software, engineering, digital, and technical talent in highly competitive markets.
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach, networking, referrals, and sourcing tools.
- Conduct candidate screens and provide Hiring Managers with high-quality, calibrated talent.
- Partner closely with Hiring Managers as a trusted talent advisor, providing market insights and recruiting recommendations.
- Manage multiple searches and pipelines while maintaining accurate ATS data and providing data-driven updates to stakeholders.
- Own the candidate experience from initial contact through offer.
- Partner across Recruiting, HR, Compensation, and DE&I while supporting inclusive hiring practices.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on technical, software, engineering, or digital talent.
- Proven success sourcing and closing hard-to-find, passive technical candidates.
- Experience recruiting for areas such as Software Engineering, Mobile, Web, Cloud, Data, AI/ML, Embedded Software, or Connected Vehicle.
- Strong Hiring Manager partnership, influencing, and candidate-closing skills.
- Ability to quickly understand technical requirements, talent markets, and emerging technologies.
- Self-motivated with a strong bias for action, curiosity, and ownership.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience using ATS/CRM systems and recruiting data to manage pipelines and communicate progress.
