Overview
Leads, supervises, and develops a team of Retail Recruiters who drive differentiated talent acquisition by sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent for hourly full-time and part-time opportunities in Lowes Foods retail stores. Ensures recruiting activity across assigned markets meets targeted staffing objectives and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervises, coaches, and develops a team of Retail Recruiters; sets performance expectations, monitors productivity, and provides ongoing feedback and development.• Oversee the team’s partnership with Store Directors and Host Experience Generalists (HEGs) on staffing needs and ensure all open positions are posted for assigned regions.• Ensures full-time and part-time* (*for seasonal, new stores, triage stores as assigned) candidates are sourced, screened, and selected in a timely manner; personally leads screening and selection for priority, hard-to-fill, and higher-level hires.• Ensures the team consistently supports the pre-employment process as necessary.• Serves as the senior subject matter expert for the retail recruiting team, ensures team proficiency and trains hiring managers as needed.• Ensures hiring practices in stores comply with Lowes Foods, federal, and state guidelines; oversees accurate recruiting reports and metrics and escalates compliance-related concerns as appropriate.• Represents Lowes Foods and leads team participation in job fairs, hiring, and recruiting events across assigned markets.• Reports on staffing metrics and recruiting performance to the Director of Talent Acquisition and recommends process improvements.• Completes other tasks and special assignments as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a retail environment.• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience or demonstrated readiness to lead a recruiting team.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); ATS administration experience a plus.• Strong oral and written communication skills.• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to use sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
