What you'll do
- Partner with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders to build recruitment strategies that align talent with Uber's mission and mindset.
- Navigate the complexity of full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment, managing everything from initial strategy meetings to final offer acceptances.
- Own the assessment process by interpreting metrics and market trends to predict hiring timelines and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Influence hiring decisions by deeply understanding candidate motivations and their potential impact on team dynamics.
- Adapt recruitment approaches based on shifting business needs and imperfect information to ensure we hire the right people for every role.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and candidate obsession, ensuring every applicant feels heard and supported throughout their journey.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience for a Senior Recruiter.
- Experience partnering with and influencing stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting within a high-growth, fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to use data-driven insights to guide complex hiring decisions.
- Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with senior business leaders and diverse professional candidates.
- Resilience and the ability to maintain a high bar for excellence while navigating high-ambiguity roles.
Passion for cultivating a diverse workforce and participating in culture-related activities like Employee Resource Groups.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
