Team Overview
The Global Talent Acquisition team partners closely with business leaders across TransUnion to attract, engage, and hire high-impact talent that supports enterprise growth and transformation. This team plays a critical role in building diverse, high-performing teams across functions by providing strategic talent guidance, market insights, and consistent recruiting execution. This role reports to a Manager of Talent Acquisition. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
This role exists to independently deliver end-to-end Talent Acquisition partnership across multiple business areas while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders on hiring strategy, talent market dynamics, and recruiting execution.
- Independently partner with business leaders across TransUnion to understand workforce needs, define hiring priorities, and deliver high-quality talent outcomes with a high degree of autonomy
- Autonomously manage full-cycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio of roles, from intake through offer, ensuring timely execution, strong stakeholder alignment, and a consistent hiring experience
- Proactively develop and execute sourcing strategies, including market research, Boolean search design, talent mapping, and targeted outreach, without requiring close supervision
- Serve as a consultative Talent Acquisition Business Partner to Hiring Managers and Senior Leaders, independently guiding hiring strategy, candidate evaluation, market positioning, and decision-making
- Design and implement forward-thinking recruitment strategies aligned to enterprise-wide talent priorities, business goals, and workforce planning needs
- Independently leverage recruiting data and insights to drive informed conversations with business leaders on pipeline health, market trends, hiring risks, and progress against goals
- Own and maintain a transparent, consistent, and positive candidate and stakeholder experience through disciplined communication, process rigor, and proactive follow-through
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and consistent selection processes across every search
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated ability to operate autonomously on complex, business-critical searches and consistently deliver results
- Proven success recruiting across multiple functions or business areas, with the ability to quickly understand role requirements, business priorities, and talent market dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to build industry knowledge and develop subject-matter expertise in specific talent segments, functions, or niche hiring areas to effectively advise stakeholders and influence hiring outcomes
- Advanced passive sourcing expertise, including market mapping, Boolean search design, talent intelligence, and compelling outreach strategies informed by market and role-specific insights
- Experience advising and influencing Hiring Managers and Senior Leaders, drawing on business context, market knowledge, and recruiting expertise to shape hiring approach and decisions
- Data-driven recruiting experience, using insights and metrics to independently diagnose challenges, inform strategy, manage expectations, and improve hiring outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, drive alignment, and communicate effectively across business groups
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms used to manage requisitions, candidates, and hiring workflows
- Ability to design and execute Boolean search strings across sourcing tools and platforms
- Comfort leveraging recruiting data, dashboards, and market insights to assess pipeline progress, identify risks, and inform hiring decisions
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance recruiting tasks, sourcing efforts, stakeholder updates, and market research
- English proficiency: Advanced English proficiency required, equivalent to C1 level or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, candidates, and cross-functional partners.
