  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and an ATS; experience with Ashby a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to build credibility with hiring managers quickly and communicate pipeline status clearly

What the job involves

  • OpenGov is on a mission to power more effective and accountable government — and our talent team is at the center of that growth
  • We're looking for a Senior Recruiter to join us on a short-term contract basis (2–3 months) to help execute against an active hiring load across our Sales and Professional Services organizations
  • This is a full-cycle, high-ownership role — you'll hit the ground running, partner directly with hiring managers, and drive pipeline without a ramp-up period
  • If you're a seasoned recruiter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can operate with a high degree of autonomy, this is your kind of engagement
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across an assigned book of Sales and Professional Services requisitions, from intake through offer acceptance
  • Build and activate both active and passive candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools, with a focus on SaaS sales talent and PS implementation/project management profiles
  • Conduct thorough candidate screens to assess fit against role requirements and OpenGov's hiring bar
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process, ensuring a high-quality experience on both sides
  • Manage candidate data and pipeline activity in Ashby, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Partner with the Recruiting Manager on priority shifts, capacity alignment, and coverage needs for the duration of the engagement
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline health, velocity, and any blockers to hiring manager stakeholders across Sales and PS
  • This isn’t your typical 9-to-5 job; we operate in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where impact matters more than simply clocking in and out. Our global team of 800+ employees is united in our commitment to challenge the status quo
  • We pride ourselves on our performance-based culture, where every employee is encouraged to jump in head-first and take action to help us improve. If you have a great idea, we want to hear it. Excellent performance is recognized and rewarded, and we love to promote from within
