Overview

The Recruitment Operations Manager (ROM) supports the day-to-day coordination and execution of recruitment services across remotely supported accounts and the High-Skill Recruitment team.

The ROM serves as a key point of contact between clients, recruiters, and operations, helping ensure labor requests are clearly communicated, recruitment resources are appropriately coordinated, onboarding activities remain on track, and clients receive timely recruitment updates.

The ROM works closely with the RPS Director, providing operational visibility, identifying potential service or recruitment challenges, and escalating issues requiring additional leadership support.

Key Responsibilities

Remote Account Support

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned remotely supported accounts.
  • Receive and coordinate client labor orders, ensuring position requirements, timelines, and priorities are clearly communicated to the appropriate recruitment resources.
  • Coordinate recruitment support based on established priorities and available team capacity.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure candidate onboarding, pre-employment requirements, administrative activities, and assignment readiness are completed.
  • Maintain regular client communication regarding recruitment activity, candidate progress, upcoming needs, and open action items.
  • Coordinate associate and client engagement activities for remotely supported accounts.
  • Identify service concerns, staffing challenges, or client issues and escalate to the RPS Director when additional support or direction is required.

High-Skill Recruitment Support

  • Support the day-to-day coordination of requisitions across the High-Skill Recruitment team.
  • Assist with distributing requisitions based on established priorities, recruiter workload, specialization, and capacity.
  • Maintain visibility into open requisitions, recruitment activity, aging, and client priorities.
  • Identify requisitions that may require additional attention and coordinate with recruiters on next steps.
  • Assist recruiters with first-level troubleshooting of difficult-to-fill positions, including reviewing sourcing activity, candidate feedback, and potential recruitment barriers.
  • Coordinate client-facing recruitment status reports and ensure updates are complete, accurate, and delivered according to established reporting expectations.
  • Track open client and recruitment action items and support timely follow-through.
  • Escalate significant recruitment barriers, capacity concerns, or client issues to the RPS Director.

Recruitment Operations & Coordination

  • Help maintain consistent recruitment processes and service standards across supported accounts.
  • Coordinate communication between Recruitment, Operations, and clients to help prevent delays in the candidate and onboarding process.
  • Identify process gaps, recurring challenges, or potential service risks and bring them to the RPS Director for review.
  • Support implementation of recruitment initiatives and process improvements established by RPS leadership.
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and operational tracking as needed.

New Business Support

  • Provide coordination and administrative support to the RPS Director for new business opportunities.
  • Assist with sales lead follow-up and scheduling of initial client conversations.
  • Participate in client intake and discovery meetings as requested to document hiring requirements, recruitment needs, and operational details.
  • Gather recruitment, market, and operational information needed to support opportunity evaluation.
  • Assist the RPS Director with preparation of recruitment materials, implementation information, and solution proposals.
  • Support the transition of approved new business opportunities into the recruitment and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, workforce solutions, or recruitment operations.
  • Experience supporting client relationships and recruitment delivery.
  • Experience coordinating multiple accounts, requisitions, or recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, screening, onboarding, and hiring processes.
  • Ability to identify recruitment challenges, coordinate next steps, and recognize when leadership escalation is needed.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across recruitment, operations, and client teams.
  • Experience with ATS/VMS platforms, recruitment reporting, job boards, sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Salary Range : $80,930.77 - $101,163.47 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
