Arista Home Care Solutions provides compassionate in-home care to older adults and people with disabilities. We are seeking an experienced, dependable Recruitment & Human Resources Coordinator who wants a stable, long-term part-time position.
This is a dedicated recruitment and HR position. It does not include receptionist duties, routine phone coverage, or general office support. The coordinator works independently, has no direct reports, and serves as Arista’s primary on-site HR resource.
Arista provides training on its systems and internal procedures, including Apploi, Viventium, and RiverSoft. The successful candidate must already understand fundamental recruiting and HR practices.
RECRUITMENT & HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR SCHEDULE
Part-time, on-site, Monday through Friday. Consistent weekday availability within our regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is required. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be needed for recruiting events or orientations.
RECRUITMENT & HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full recruiting process, from job posting and applicant screening through interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Maintain the applicant pipeline in Apploi and follow up with qualified candidates promptly.
- Recruit through job boards, employee referrals, schools, job fairs, community partners, and other approved sources.
- Coordinate references, background checks, drug screening, licenses, certifications, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Prepare approved offers and coordinate orientation and onboarding paperwork.
- Track recruiting activity and provide leadership with a concise weekly report on applicants, interviews, orientations, hires, barriers, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready employee records.
- Monitor expiring credentials and other employment requirements.
- Maintain employee information and process routine changes in Viventium and other company systems.
- Respond to routine employee questions and document and escalate employee-relations concerns appropriately.
- Assist leadership with performance documentation, corrective action, investigations, and separations.
- Support employee retention and conduct new-hire follow-up and exit interviews when possible.
- Protect the confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
RECRUITMENT & HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two years of hands-on recruiting and human resources experience; general office experience alone is not sufficient.
- Experience screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a recruiting pipeline and follow up consistently with a high volume of applicants.
- Working knowledge of employment practices, confidentiality, and HR recordkeeping requirements.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, exercise sound judgment, and keep leadership informed.
- Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and conflict-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system or HRIS.
- HR or recruiting experience in home care, home health, healthcare, or another high-volume service setting is preferred.
- An associate degree or higher, PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing.
