RecruitmentEngagement Specialist
Help Us Find People Who Make a Difference!
At Dove Healthcare, great care starts with great people. We're looking for a RecruitmentEngagement Specialist who knows how to find exceptional talent, build genuine relationships, and turn great candidates into long-term team members.
This isn't a sit-back-and-wait-for-applicants kind of recruiting role. You'll be at the center of our talent strategy-building our brand, connecting with candidates, partnering with leaders, and creating recruiting strategies that bring the right people through our doors and keep them here.
If you're energized by meeting people, solving hiring challenges, thinking creatively, and making an impact, we'd love to meet you!
Recruit. Connect. Engage. Retain.
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from identifying hiring needs to extending offers and supporting a smooth transition into onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and develop creative recruitment strategies.
- Hunt for talent! Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networking, employee referrals, community connections, and other creative channels.
- Create engaging, honest job postings that showcase the Dove Healthcare culture, team, and employee experience.
- Maintain accurate job postings and candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build and nurture an active talent pipeline, staying connected with candidates even when the timing isn't quite right.
- Represent Dove Healthcare at career fairs, job fairs, schools, community events, and other talent-focused events.
- Partner with leaders and provide guidance on ATS usage, recruiting best practices, candidate engagement, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Help facilities understand and manage agency staffing needs by tracking agency utilization, analyzing trends, and leading bi-weekly agency calls.
- Go beyond the hire. Conduct stay interviews and partner with managers to identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Track and analyze 90-day new-hire turnover and overall retention, turning data into actionable insights.
- Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and share meaningful feedback with leadership.
- Lead the Quarterly Regional Retention Committee, bringing leaders together to identify strategies that strengthen our employee experience.
- Jump in, collaborate, problem-solve, and support other HR initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organized, personable, proactive, and passionate about people.
You bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of healthcare recruiting or sourcing experience preferred.
- Strong sourcing skills and the ability to think creatively when recruiting for hard-to-fill positions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the candidate experience.
- The ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with candidates, employees, managers, and leadership.
- Comfort using technology, applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and data to support hiring decisions.
- A relationship-building mindset and the ability to connect with people at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach-you see a hiring challenge and think, "How can we solve it?"
Why This Role Matters
