About the Role
Shades of Grey HR is looking for a Recruiting & Talent Associate to join our team.
You do not need recruiting or HR experience . We're looking for someone who's smart, dependable, organized, good with people, comfortable with technology, and ready to learn.
Maybe you're working in reception, scheduling, customer service, administration, healthcare, hospitality, or another role where you know you're capable of more. Maybe you're returning to the workforce or need the flexibility of working remotely.
We can teach you recruiting. You need to bring the initiative, follow-through, and ability to figure things out.
AI Experience Is Required
AI is a major part of how we work. We use it every day and constantly test new tools.
You don't need to be an AI expert or know how to code, but you do need to already know how to work with AI.
You should be able to
- Write effective prompts and provide the right context
- Refine prompts when the first result isn't right
- Ask follow-up questions and change your approach
- Use AI for research, writing, organization, and problem-solving
- Recognize when an AI answer doesn't make sense
- Learn and experiment with new AI tools
ChatGPT is one of our primary tools today, but we're not looking for someone who only knows one platform.
What You'll Do
- Source and research potential candidates
- Review resumes and applications
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines
- Use AI to support research, sourcing, outreach, and problem-solving
- Communicate with candidates through email, text, and eventually phone
- Maintain candidate information in our recruiting systems
- Learn tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Recruiterflow, Seamless.AI, and ZipRecruiter
- Support multiple client recruiting projects
- Help us test new AI and recruiting tools
- Find creative solutions when traditional recruiting methods aren't working

Previous recruiting experience and a college degree are not required.
Compensation & Growth
Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Benefits are not currently offered.
This is intentionally a junior-level opportunity. As you learn recruiting, develop your skills, and become capable of taking ownership of more, there absolutely will be opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation!
