The Recruiter acts as a talent partner to hiring managers across an assigned region, delivering multiple facets of recruiting success throughout CBX Solutions in multiple locations in the United States. Beyond filling individual requisitions, this role builds an ongoing, consultative relationship with hiring managers, anticipating pipeline needs, coaching on hiring practices, and bringing a strategic voice to workforce planning. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Essential Functions

  • Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies by studying organization plans and objectives
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions; meeting with and proactively working with managers to discuss needs
  • Serve as a talent partner to assigned hiring managers, meeting on a regular, recurring cadence to build a forward-looking view of upcoming hiring needs and pipeline demand across the region
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees
  • Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates
  • Responsible for creating and updating job descriptions, attract applicants by placing job advertisements, screen resumes and candidates, conduct interviews and assist managers with the complete hiring process
  • Conduct Culture Index job analysis (C-Job) for open and evolving roles, and interpret survey results with hiring managers to support hiring decisions, in partnership with the Director, Talent Strategy & Analytics
  • Work with Temporary/Staffing agencies as well as contract recruiters
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing best practices to improve interview quality, consistency, and decision speed
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition; coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
  • Manage Applicant Tracking system to ensure compliance
  • Assist with the compilation and maintenance of the Affirmative Action Program
  • Assists with the coordination between recruiting, onboarding and training
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Hiring Hub content, keeping manager-facing resources current, accurate, and useful
  • Assists with other projects within HR Department as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – Business, Communication, Sales, Marketing or other relevant field
  • Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience in Recruiting
  • Experience in relevant social media platforms (ex: LinkedIn) required
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail of vital importance
  • Proven candidate sourcing skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent computer skills; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs
  • Experience with Jobvite ATS preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Self-directed and motivated; requiring minimal supervision

Physical Demands

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. This position operates in both a professional office setting and a warehouse environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Occasional travel to project sites may be required. Warehouse conditions include proximity to forklifts and other heavy machinery and the use of various tools and hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and exposure to variable weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
