Randolph, MA | Full-Time
As a Recruiter at May Institute, you’ll manage full-cycle recruitment and serve as a Talent Advisor, partnering with leaders to solve workforce challenges. You’ll use recruiting expertise, an understanding of workforce needs, data, and technology to identify hiring barriers, recommend practical solutions, and adjust strategies based on results.
You’ll look beyond sourcing to consider how compensation, scheduling, role requirements, hiring practices, candidate experience, and labor-market conditions affect hiring success.
What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment: Independently manage multiple requisitions across programs and stakeholders, owning the candidate journey from outreach through confirmed start.
  • Advise hiring leaders: Understand the need behind each opening, clarify requirements, identify root causes of hiring challenges, and recommend solutions.
  • Build talent pipelines: Use Indeed, LinkedIn, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools. Research talent availability, competitors, candidate behavior, and alternative talent pools.
  • Turn data into action: Analyze pipeline health, conversion, source effectiveness, requisition aging, candidate drop-off, offers, and starts to guide decisions and adjust strategies.
  • Coordinate the hiring process: Maintain timely communication with candidates, hiring leaders, and internal partners to support a positive candidate experience and successful starts.
  • Maintain reliable systems and practices: Keep ATS data and documentation accurate, use systems to manage workflow, and follow recruitment compliance and structured candidate evaluation standards.
  • Apply technology responsibly: Use approved AI, recruiting, and productivity tools to improve efficiency while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Uphold May Institute’s mission and values: Demonstrate respect and accountability and protect the confidentiality of individuals served.

What You Bring

  • Experience: At least 1 year of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including independently managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple requisitions and stakeholders. High-volume, healthcare, education, or human services experience preferred.
  • Analysis and problem-solving: Ability to interpret recruiting and workforce data, identify barriers and root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Communication and partnership: Strong interpersonal, written communication, consultation, and influencing skills.
  • Technology skills: Proficiency with Dayforce or a similar ATS, sourcing platforms, recruiting technologies, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Recruitment knowledge: Working knowledge of recruitment compliance, structured candidate evaluation, and documentation standards.
