Healthy Hens, Healthy Eggs, Healthy Planet
At Pete & Gerry's, we were first to do it better, and are still doing it best. For nearly 30 years, we've been on a mission to produce healthy, delicious eggs and partner with family farms for meaningful impact. By raising hens outdoors as nature intended, we stay true to our roots every step of the way by keeping animal welfare, planet-friendly farming practices, and high-quality taste and nutrition at the heart of all we do, so you can always believe in what you buy.
Healthy Together
At Pete & Gerry’s, we believe that when we care for each other, we all thrive. We create an environment where every person feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow, because our success depends on the wellbeing of the people who make our mission possible.
The Role at a Glance
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Recruiter to provide dedicated Talent Acquisition support across our four manufacturing facilities for approximately three months.
This role will focus exclusively on plant staffing and high-volume recruiting, helping our Local HR teams quickly identify, attract, screen, and hire qualified candidates for frontline and operational positions.
The ideal candidate has hands-on recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment, is comfortable managing a high volume of openings and candidates, and can quickly build relationships with plant leaders and HR teams. This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who knows how to move quickly, stay organized, and consistently deliver results in a fast-paced staffing environment.
How You’ll Create Greater Impact
- Provide dedicated recruiting support across four manufacturing facilities, with primary responsibility for frontline and operational staffing needs.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from requisition intake and sourcing through screening, interview coordination, selection, offer, and pre-employment steps.
- Partner closely with Local HR teams and plant leaders to understand staffing needs, priorities, schedules, and hiring requirements.
- Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously and prioritize recruiting activity based on business and staffing needs.
- Develop and maintain active candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill plant positions.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, community partnerships, referrals, recruiting events, and other channels.
- Conduct high-volume candidate outreach, phone screens, and initial assessments.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the process.
- Help reduce time-to-fill and improve staffing levels by proactively identifying and addressing recruiting bottlenecks.
- Partner with Local HR teams to ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information within the ATS/recruiting system.
- Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, hiring progress, and other key recruiting metrics.
- Provide regular updates to HR and plant leadership regarding open positions, candidate pipelines, challenges, and hiring progress.
- Participate in targeted recruiting events.
What You’ll Bring to the Flock
