Full-Time Recruiter / Onboarding Coordinator
Right at Home Columbus Metro is looking for a motivated, organized, and people-focused Full-Time Recruiter / Onboarding Coordinator to join our team in Pickerington, Ohio.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Position: Full-Time, Hourly
Position Overview
The Recruiter / Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and hiring caregivers, conducting interviews and onboarding appointments, and ensuring new and existing employees have all required documentation and information up to date.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, pays close attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring
- Recruit and attract qualified caregivers through job boards, referrals, and other recruiting sources
- Review applications and resumes
- Conduct caregiver interviews and assess candidates based on experience, availability, skills, and client-care needs
- Communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process
- Perform background checks and required pre-employment documentation
- Maintain accurate applicant and hiring records
Onboarding
- Conduct new-hire onboarding appointments
- Complete and review required new-hire paperwork
- Enter new employees into all required company systems and software
- Ensure employees are properly set up and ready to begin working
- Coordinate required training and orientation
- Follow up on missing or incomplete onboarding documentation
Employee Compliance & Documentation
- Monitor employee credentials and required documentation
- Track expiring IDs, certifications, licenses, and other required documents
- Contact caregivers regarding renewals and ensure updated documentation is received before expiration
- Maintain accurate employee files and compliance records
- Complete and follow up on employment and job verifications
- Assist with ensuring employee records remain current and complete
- Communicate with caregivers regarding outstanding documentation and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, HR, healthcare, home care, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable conducting interviews and speaking with applicants and employees
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple software systems
- Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Previous experience with recruiting or employee onboarding is a plus
