MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
- Partner closely with hiring managers to provide talent acquisition support and ensure a high level of data accuracy and metrics for talent analytics/reporting and candidate records.
- Focus on and drive affirmative action (OFCCP) hiring goals, as necessary.
- Manage requisition process in applicant tracking system.
- Post job openings on internal and external job boards.
- Source candidates from applicant tracking system and external candidate database.
- Partner with local and community resources such as colleges and training institutions to recruit their students/graduates.
- Seek out and represent STAAR at pertinent job fairs as needed.
- Work closely with all cross-functional partners in HR to stay up to date on any changing processes, tools, or regulations.
- Provide positive candidate, hiring manager and any other internal/external customer experiences.
- Provide oversight of employee referral program and process.
- Support audit and provide reporting related to talent acquisition activities.
- Support affirmative action reporting and government census reporting.
- Develop and manage relationships with outside vendors in the recruiting process to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. These vendors include but are not limited to pre-employment checks, direct placement /search firms and on-line service providers.
- Own the entire new hire onboarding process including but not limited to background checks, new hire orientations, entering new hires into HRIS, new hire check ins.
- Facilitate applicant work-related immigration process, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR Management, Business, or related.
- Professional certification such as PHR is a plus
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience or talent acquisition, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing.
- Outsourcing experience with professional staffing agencies preferred
- Experience using applicant tracking system preferred.

Pay range: $75k - $100k - Final compensation/salary will be dependent on experience
