Recruiter – Manufacturing / CNC / Machine Shop

The ideal candidate is an outreach-driven recruiter who knows how to use AI recruiting tools to find, engage, and convert talent quickly, including passive candidates who aren't actively job hunting.

This **onsite **role is perfect for an experienced Recruiter who thrives on urgency and challenges of recruiting in a fast-paced environment and can proactively build pipelines for difficult-to-fill positions such as CNC Machinists, CNC Operators, Set-Up Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, and other Support roles.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the business is staffed with qualified talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead proactive outreach to active and passive candidates through text, email, phone, social media, and community channels.
  • Use AI recruiting platforms such as FactoryFix to source, screen, engage, and schedule candidates at scale.
  • Develop relationships with local schools, trade programs, workforce agencies, and Spanish-speaking community organizations to expand our candidate reach.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, shift schedules, and desired candidate profiles.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and ensure timely follow-up on interview scheduling, candidate communication, offer coordination, and pre-employment steps.
  • Draft, post, and maintain accurate and compelling job postings across recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Factory Fix, referrals, local trade schools, community colleges, and other manufacturing-specific channels.
  • Review applications daily and move qualified candidates through the hiring process efficiently by utilizing statuses and platforms tools.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-priority and recurring positions.
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill machine shop and skilled labor roles.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments to evaluate technical fit, work history, shift flexibility, compensation expectations, and cultural fit.
  • Help reduce hiring delays by keeping open communication with hiring managers.
  • Track recruiting activity, applicant flow, interview status, and time-to-fill metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records in recruiting systems and job boards.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on open roles, hiring progress, candidate pipelines, and recruiting challenges.

Must Haves

  • Outreach and AI-powered recruiting
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workforce challenges and labor market conditions.
  • Ability to work with urgency and manage multiple open requisitions at once.
  • Strong relationship-builder with managers and leadership.
  • Familiarity with CNC-related terminology, shop floor roles, and machine shop operations.
  • Experience with Indeed, Factory Fix, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other manufacturing-focused recruiting tools.
  • Strong follow-through and sense of urgency.
  • High attention to detail, resourceful and proactive.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
