Due to growth The Satterfield and Pontikes Family of companies is adding a Recruiter to our corporate office in Houston (77041). The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level roles across the organization. This role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role is in the office 4 days a week. To be successful in this role you must have experience cold calling candidates. This is not an HR/Staffing type role. This role requires a true sourcing expert that is comfortable cold calling passive candidates.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Full-cycle recruiting for entry-level to senior-level roles under the guidance of senior recruiters.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and recommend sourcing or screening approaches.
Source and engage with candidates utilizing passive search techniques.
Carry an above-average requisition load of 15+ at any given time
Create and implement sourcing strategies for recruiting for a variety of roles, including operations, administrative, etc.
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through timely updates, feedback coordination, and follow-up.
Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Contribute to improving recruiting processes, templates, and tools for efficiency and consistency.
Assist with offer preparation, reference checks, and pre-employment processes as needed.
Support or participate in recruiting events, job fairs, or off-site hiring initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience as a Recruiter preferably with a construction company.
