Audubon is currently seeking a Recruiter to join our team in our Houston, TX office. Reporting to the Director of Human Capital, the Recruiter will support the company's recruiting needs, manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and employees to help ensure the organization's hiring needs are met.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with hiring managers to understand current and anticipated hiring needs, workforce plans, and department growth.
- Advise and assist hiring managers with job descriptions, qualifications, compensation considerations, and recruiting strategy.
- Review requisitions submitted by hiring managers for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with company requirements.
- Activate and post approved positions on the company career site, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other external job boards as appropriate.
- Source, identify, and pre-screen candidates based on the qualifications and requirements of each position.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, selection support, offer coordination, negotiation, and closing.
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
- Coordinate and maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Solicit, document, and communicate interview feedback from hiring managers.
- Provide hiring managers with guidance regarding candidate qualifications, market conditions, and recruiting process requirements.
- Coordinate offer details with the hiring manager and candidate.
- Work with approved external staffing agencies to review and present candidates to hiring managers.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with company leaders, hiring managers, preferred staffing agencies, colleges, and other talent sources.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized candidate and requisition documentation.
- Track open requisitions, recruiting activity, candidate progress, aging, and hiring outcomes.
- Use effective written and verbal communication, proactively keeping stakeholders informed and responding in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, and recruiting procedures.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- 5+ years' experience.
- Previous experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting.
- Experience with Direct, Temp, and Temp to Perm placement.
- Understanding of recruiting life cycle.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Poise and credibility to interface frequently all level of employees and candidates.
- Outstanding client support skills, ensuring relations with colleges and vendors are well maintained.
- Proficient in working independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently provide accurate and timely work product.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
- Aptitude to react to changing priorities.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Knowledge of Database, Applicant tracking and Recruiting Software programs.
