Recruiter I
POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiter is responsible for supporting DTAC's talent acquisition efforts by managing full-cycle recruiting activities for behavioral health, residential, and support positions across multiple locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring programs remain fully staffed to support high-quality care for the individuals DTAC serves. This position is ideal for an early-career recruiting professional who is highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to grow within Human Resources. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire qualified candidates while also assisting with onboarding and other HR-related administrative functions. While primarily remote, the position requires periodic travel to job fairs, recruiting events, educational institutions, and DTAC locations as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry-level, direct care, clinical support, and administrative positions.
- Create and post job advertisements across various recruiting platforms.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.
- Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare employment offers and communicate offer details to candidates.
- Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently recruited positions.
- Track recruiting metrics, hiring activity, and candidate progression through the recruitment process.
- Represent DTAC at job fairs, career fairs, college recruiting events, and community hiring initiatives.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
- Support new hire onboarding activities and employment documentation.
- Assist with employee record maintenance and HR administrative responsibilities.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or other high-volume environments preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms preferred.
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel locally for recruiting events REQUIRED.
