JOB PURPOSE
The Retech Recruiter will work independently to perform tasks that support the successful operation of Human Resources Department, with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, candidate experience, and promoting Retech as an employer of choice. This role serves as a key ambassador of the Retech brand, creating positive experiences for candidates throughout the hiring process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
/ Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource related matters, files, and records.
/ Sources, attracts, and screens candidates by using the company database, social media, attending career fairs and more.
/ Conducts phone screenings, interviews, and filters candidates for open positions via phone, teams, email, and in person.
/ Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
/ Represents Retech professionally at career fairs, networking events, and community activities to attract top talent and promote the organization's employment brand.
/ Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
/ Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
/ Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
/ Provides clerical support to the Human Resources team members.
/ Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, lunches, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
/ In constant communication with the HR team to ensure accurate information is relayed.
/ Performs other duties as assigned.

/ Desire to learn and develop as an HR professional in a growing company.
Education and Experience
/ Bachelor's Degree in any field [related to HR preferred].
/ A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in HR or Recruiting.
/ Experience with recruitment and onboarding is preferred.

/ The work environment is an office setting with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The need to go into a Manufacturing setting will be required. The ability to drive throughout Western New York will be needed sporadically.
