We're seeking an energetic, relationship-driven People Success Recruiter - Taxi to lead driver recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting. Key Responsibilities of a People Success Recruiter - Taxi

Driver Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Source and attract qualified driver candidates through job boards, referrals, community outreach, networking events, and strategic partnerships.
Develop innovative recruiting campaigns to build a strong and consistent pipeline of driver talent.
Promote zTrip as an employer of choice within the transportation industry.
Attend job fairs, community events, and hiring initiatives to connect with prospective drivers.
Conduct applicant screenings, interviews, and candidate assessments.
Manage the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding.
Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Driver Onboarding & Success

Coordinate and facilitate new driver onboarding programs.
Assist drivers with application requirements, documentation, licensing, and training processes.
Ensure new drivers have the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary for a successful launch.
Serve as a primary point of contact during the onboarding period.
Help drivers understand company procedures, expectations, technology platforms, and operational standards.
Track onboarding progress and provide follow-up support to encourage early success.

Driver Engagement & Retention

Build strong relationships with drivers throughout their tenure with the company.
Conduct regular check-ins with both new and established drivers.
Provide coaching and guidance focused on customer service, professionalism, performance, and business growth.
Identify opportunities to improve driver satisfaction, retention, and overall experience.
Address concerns proactively and connect drivers with appropriate resources and solutions.
Develop driver recognition programs that celebrate achievements and milestones.
Foster a culture of accountability, support, communication, and mutual respect.

Coaching & Career Development

Mentor drivers on best practices for success within the transportation industry.
Support professional development initiatives and ongoing training opportunities.
Encourage performance improvement through positive coaching and constructive feedback.
Help drivers establish career goals and identify pathways for growth within the organization.
Partner with operational leaders to support continuous driver development.

Reporting & Workforce Strategy

Maintain accurate recruiting, onboarding, and retention records.
Track key performance indicators related to hiring, engagement, and retention.
Analyze trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
Support workforce planning initiatives and staffing objectives.
Identify process improvements that enhance recruitment effectiveness and driver satisfaction.
Assist with special projects and people-focused initiatives designed to strengthen organizational growth.

Qualifications of a People Success Recruiter - Taxi

Preferred Experience

Recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, workforce development, employee relations, customer service, sales, operations, or related experience.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting individuals in achieving professional goals.
Ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
