This position serves as a strategic talent advisor to business leaders and is responsible for designing and executing talent acquisition strategies that ensure Nuvision attracts, selects, and retains high-quality talent aligned to organizational growth, culture, regulatory requirements, and workforce plans. The role goes beyond traditional recruiting by leveraging market intelligence, data, employer brand, and candidate experience to improve hiring outcomes and long-term talent health.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt, nonexempt, and specialized roles using structured, compliant, and data-informed selection practices.
  • Partner with business leaders on hiring strategy, workforce planning assumptions, talent-market realities, and role design for complex and strategic positions.
  • Advise hiring managers on compensation positioning, interview calibration, offer strategy, and market competitiveness in partnership with Compensation and People Services leadership.
  • Develop proactive sourcing and talent-pipeline strategies for critical roles, future needs, and merger-related growth.
  • Use recruiting analytics and business data to improve pipeline health, quality of hire, time to fill, source effectiveness, and recruiting ROI.
  • Deliver a differentiated candidate and new-hire experience in partnership with hiring managers, People team partners, and onboarding stakeholders.
  • Support employer brand, EVP, talent marketing initiatives by developing and executing recruitment campaigns, social media strategies, and digital talent marketing initiatives aligned to priority talent segments.
  • Drive talent engagement and pipeline development through community outreach, strategic partnerships with educational and workforce organizations, networking events, and employee referral programs.
  • Ensure hiring practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and internal governance requirements across multiple states.
  • Monitor agency usage, temporary labor activity, and external recruiting spend; recommend opportunities to reduce costs and improve outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, AI-enabled recruiting capabilities, process redesign initiatives that elevate recruiting effectiveness and scalability.
  • Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner. Maintains member, team members and other sensitive information with confidentiality. Treats co-workers and members with respect.
  • Supports member relations and events that promote member centric experiences.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success partnering directly with business leaders on hiring strategy, market insights, and candidate quality.
  • Experience hiring across multiple states and/or regulated environments
  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting trends and strategies, labor market dynamics, candidate assessment design, and compliant hiring practices.
  • Working knowledge, understanding and utilization of state (multi-state) and federal employment/labor laws and statutes, including but not limited to EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Titles VII & IX, Affirmative Action, and other DOL regulations as well as HR policies, practices and principles
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI-enabled recruiting capabilities and related governance considerations
  • Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and guide hiring decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiating ability to effectively communicate, motivate and influence across organizational levels, stakeholders, candidates and external partners.
  • Strong conflict and problem resolutions skills
  • Strong analytical capability, and comfort using data to drive recommendations and decisions.
  • Advanced interviewing, sourcing, talent assessment, and offer negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex requisitions while maintaining candidate quality and experience.
  • Strong proficiency with ATS/HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, reporting tools, and web-based applications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting in a mid-to-large financial institution, credit union, banking, mortgage, lending, or similarly regulated industry strongly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
