Job Summary

As a Recruiter, your role will be pivotal in building relationships that support both our teams and our candidates. You’ll help attract and retain top talent that fits Watco’s customer-first mindset and safety-focused culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Recruiter, your focus will be on relationship building and customer service:

  • Partner with hiring managers and teams to understand their unique needs and ensure recruitment efforts align with Watco’s culture and values.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on talent acquisition and workforce planning to meet the needs of our fast-paced logistics operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that both hiring managers and candidates have outstanding experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Use insights and data to improve hiring strategies and ensure that every hire contributes to Watco’s commitment to safety, teamwork, and service.
  • Be an advocate for Watco’s culture, ensuring that new hires embody our values of service, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

You will thrive in this role if you excel in building relationships and delivering excellent customer service. We’re looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of recruitment experience, particularly in building strong partnerships with hiring managers and leadership.
  • A proven ability to create an exceptional recruitment experience for both hiring teams and candidates.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating talent for culture fit.
  • Excellent communication and solution-oriented skills to effectively support hiring needs and resolve challenges.
  • A passion for customer service, safety, and continuous improvement.Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools
  • Ability to travel

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business
