Office Support & Recruiting Team Lead

Full-Time | RISE Community Services

Why You’ll Want to Work at RISE

You’re looking for more than your next job. You want a place where you can build your skills, contribute ideas, help others succeed, and continue growing your career.

At RISE, you’ll join a mission-driven organization that values connection, engagement, belonging, professional development, and creating future leaders. You’ll have opportunities to learn new skills, take on meaningful responsibilities, and grow while making a difference for others.

What You’ll Get to Own

You’ll be an important connection between HR, candidates, new employees, and individuals with disabilities working at RISE.

You’ll help keep recruiting and onboarding moving, support day-to-day HR and office needs, and provide hands-on job coaching to help individuals build confidence and workplace skills.

This is not a position where you wait for someone to give you your next task. We’re looking for someone who notices what needs attention, takes initiative, follows through, and finds productive ways to support the team.

You’ll Have the Opportunity to

  • Screen candidates and help coordinate and conduct interviews
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Help coordinate onboarding and create a positive new-hire experience
  • Maintain candidate and employee information and HR documentation
  • Support HR projects, employee engagement, and training initiatives
  • Provide one-on-one job coaching and encouragement to individuals with disabilities
  • Break down job tasks and help others build workplace skills and independence
  • Help improve recruiting, onboarding, office, and HR processes
  • Create and improve checklists, trackers, resources, and other tools
  • Work independently while staying connected to the larger HR team

The job-coaching side of the position is an important part of the role, including teaching job tasks, monitoring progress, providing constructive feedback, and helping individuals strengthen time-management and workplace skills.

You May Be a Great Fit If You

  • Enjoy working with both people and processes
  • Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do
  • Can work independently and stay productive
  • Enjoy interviewing and getting to know people
  • Are comfortable coaching someone one-on-one
  • Are patient, encouraging, and able to explain things in different ways
  • Communicate professionally with different personalities
  • Are organized and catch the small details
  • Can balance compassion with accountability
  • Enjoy learning new systems and responsibilities
  • Are resourceful when something doesn’t go as planned
  • Follow through on what you say you’ll do
  • Regularly ask, “What else can I do to help?”

What You’ll Need

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in recruitment or working with individuals with disabilities.

More importantly, we’re looking for someone who brings initiative, empathy, organization, communication, problem-solving, coachability, and follow-through.
