Summary
The BridgeCare Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and presenting qualified physicians and CRNAs to support anesthesia staffing needs nationwide. This role manages a pipeline of providers, actively sources and engages new candidates, and develops strong relationships with providers throughout the recruitment and placement process.
The Recruiter is responsible for meeting individual recruiting and placement goals while providing a high level of service and responsiveness to providers.
Job Description
The BridgeCare Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and placing qualified anesthesia physicians and CRNAs for locum opportunities nationwide. This role manages the full lifecycle recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, presentation, placement, and onboarding support.
The Recruiter actively develops and maintains a pipeline of qualified providers, builds strong relationships with candidates, and works to match providers with available opportunities based on their experience, availability, and preferences. The ideal candidate has strong locum tenens recruiting experience, sourcing skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with providers.
This position reports to the Manager, BridgeCare.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for physician and CRNA locum opportunities while achieving individual recruiting and placement goals.
- Proactively source and engage new physicians and CRNAs through recruiting platforms, databases, referrals, networking, and other sourcing methods.
- Build, manage, and maintain an active pipeline of qualified providers for current and future staffing needs.
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with providers to understand their experience, availability, preferences, and career interests.
- Screen and qualify providers and match them with appropriate locum opportunities.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with providers throughout the recruitment, placement, and onboarding process.
- Present qualified providers for available opportunities and support candidates through the placement process.
- Coordinate with internal teams as needed to support provider onboarding and assignment start dates.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate, pipeline, and placement information within recruiting systems and platforms.
- Stay informed of available opportunities and provider availability to support successful placements.
- Deliver a high level of service and responsiveness throughout the provider experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of BridgeCare recruiting and staffing objectives.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare recruiting experience required.
- Previous locum tenens, anesthesia recruiting, and/or healthcare staffing experience preferred.
- Experience utilizing Vendor Management Systems (VMS), applicant tracking systems, and recruiting technologies required.

- Strong understanding of locum tenens recruiting and healthcare staffing.
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a provider pipeline and full lifecycle recruiting process.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and open opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency and ability to consistently follow up and meet deadlines.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to meet individual recruiting and placement expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and/or Vendor Management Systems.
