Lead Hospital Support Recruiter

to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a fully remote opportunity.

The

Lead Hospital Support Recruiter

serves as the primary recruiting partner for non-clinical support positions across Mission Pet Health. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, this role manages full-cycle recruiting while providing high-touch support to Regional Directors and hospital leaders and a team of 5 recruiters.

Travel: less than 25%

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for recruiting clerical and non-clinical hospital roles in assigned territory through applicant management in ATS, talent attraction, and sourcing efforts through CRM and other avenues.
  • Partner with Senior Manager of Recruiting to provide education and training to hiring teams, providing best practices and guides to improve candidate experience.
  • Partner with Senior Manager of Recruiting to improve ATS workflow and find ways to improve data integrity and reporting.

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to achieve hiring goals, career development planning, and provide strategic insights for hard to fill areas

  • Provide mentorship of recruiting team by demonstrating best practices throughout the recruiting lifecycle to include, but not limited to kick off calls, writing effective job ads, advising hiring teams, capturing accurate metrics, and closing candidates

  • Proactively catches errors and maintains rigorous data accuracy standards

  • Identifies opportunities to automate manual tasks and streamline workflows

  • Ensures bonuses and incentive payments are calculated correctly and submitted on time
  • Uses organizational resources efficiently and identifies cost-saving opportunities
  • Adheres to budget and travel guidelines acting as a responsible steward of Mission Pet Health

CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Builds positive working relationships with recruiting teams, Systems team, payroll, and other HR functions
  • Provides timely updates and responses to stakeholder requests
  • Effectively bridges communication between business users and technical teams
  • Contributes to a collaborative environment and supports colleagues when needed

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Welcomes feedback and suggestions for improving operational workflows.
  • Helps team members adapt to new processes and system changes through effective training and ongoing support
  • Adapts quickly when priorities shift or processes change

  • Creates user-friendly guides, training materials, and process documentation in an engaging and accessible manner for all teammates
  • Develops professional, engaging presentation decks that effectively convey information
  • Seeks to understand needs before providing solutions or recommendations
  • Communicates clearly and professionally in all written and in-meeting correspondence with teammates and operational leaders
  • Ensures teammates receive all critical updates and process changes through collaboration with other VT Recruiting Leads to deliver a consistent experience for the VT Recruiting Team

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting for both professional and high-volume roles.
  • Previous experience working in Avature is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across and within teams both in writing and verbally.
  • Proven ability to adapt to organizational and/or industry changes related to recruiting process and best practices. Skilled in working with various applicant tracking systems, reporting platforms, and job boards.
  • Ability to mentor and lead more junior-level recruiters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or other related field.
  • Minimum five years of full lifecycle recruiting experience.
  • Previous recruiting experience in Veterinary Medicine or Healthcare is preferred.
