Broadway Ventures is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified government contractor headquartered in Vicksburg, Mississippi. We support federal clients across the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Defense, with a workforce that is approximately 95% remote.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000

Location: Remote, based out of Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), TX or Tucson, AZ. We have clients in both locations, and this person is expected to visit client sites frequently.

Broadway Ventures is looking for an ambitious Jr. Defense Manufacturing Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. Our ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and provides excellent service to both potential hires and our client employers. You must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated to ensure you meet deadlines and prepare accurate status reports for your supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with corporate leadership and the proposal team on the qualifications needed for each position
  • Post and maintain compelling job descriptions on Greenhouse (ATS)
  • Use government contract proposal and award statement of work documents to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Use Boolean and advanced search techniques to source and identify top talent
  • Maintain the company's LinkedIn presence by posting relevant industry and company updates multiple times a week
  • Screen and interview candidates
  • Deliver world-class service to candidates and clients
  • Obtain Letters of Intent (LOI) from qualified candidates in support of contract proposal efforts
  • Coordinate with senior leadership and Business Development teams to review and determine top candidates
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients

Required

  • 1-3 years recruiting engineers for aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing (manufacturing, process, quality, test, and industrial engineers, plus electrical and mechanical engineers in a production environment)
  • Boolean and database sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
  • Experience developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external hiring managers
  • Associate's degree or higher (equivalent experience may substitute for the education requirement)
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Travel required to and from client sites

Preferred

  • Experience working with contract labor or staff augmentation for a defense prime or subprime
  • Experience using candidate metric tracking dashboards to inform decision making
  • Experience with the government contract proposal process
  • Experience hiring candidates for roles requiring a government security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, SCI, Poly)
  • Experience with various candidate selection processes

Where that is the case, the position and its final compensation are contingent upon award of the contract to Broadway Ventures and on the terms of the awarded contract, including any government-approved labor rates and the applicable wage determination.
