We pride ourselves on innovative HVAC/R solutions, lasting client relationships, and developing exceptional employees. Our technicians service walk-in coolers and freezers, rack systems, convenience store refrigeration, and commercial HVAC.

The Role

We're hiring an HR Generalist focused on recruiting. You'll own hiring for our technician and office roles from job posting to first day, and support day-to-day HR as the company grows. This is a great fit for someone detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable talking with candidates all day.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for field and office roles, from writing compelling job postings and sourcing to screening and negotiating offers.
  • Partner with regional and hiring managers to understand each team's needs and build sourcing plans by location.
  • Schedule interviews, collect feedback, and follow up quickly so good candidates don't go cold.
  • Run background checks, drug screens, and driving record (MVR) checks.
  • Manage onboarding so new hires feel welcomed and ready on day one, including new-hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and first-day logistics with operations.
  • Maintain and improve our applicant tracking system and hiring records, and report hiring status by location.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Help develop and roll out employee engagement, training, and performance review programs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related people-focused role.
  • Proven success sourcing and hiring across multiple departments and levels.
  • Experience hiring for skilled trades, field service, or HVAC/R is a big plus.
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills by phone, text, and email. You can connect with people from all walks of life.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Able to work full-time in our Salt Lake City office.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting while completing detailed work requiring sustained concentration
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and standard office equipment
  • Occasionally lift and carry office materials weighing up to 20 pounds

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid time off and 8 paid holidays
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Supportive, collaborative team

If you're ready to work alongside a team that respects the trade and invests in its people, we'd love to meet you.
