About the Role
We are looking for an organized, people-oriented HR and Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team at Viewrail. This is a full time, on-site role for someone who is ready to take the lead on day to day HR work, especially recruiting and HRIS management. You will work closely with our HR Manager and touch nearly every part of the employee experience, from the first interview to day one and beyond.
Why Viewrail?
We design and build beautiful, modern stair and railing systems, and we care just as much about the people who make that happen. You will get hands-on exposure to the full HR function, a supportive team, and room to grow your HR career.
You'll also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, voluntary life insurance, short term disability, flexible PTO, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with a 4% company match.
Position Responsibilities: (Along with the responsibilities below, this role follows all Viewrail employment policies and requirements.)
- Recruiting and Onboarding
- Own the full recruiting process for all hourly and salaried roles, from production and drivers to sales and office positions, including posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, partnering with hiring managers, and extending offers
- Manage candidates in Paycor's applicant tracking system, making sure every applicant gets timely, friendly communication
- Manage internal opportunities, including internal postings, offer letters, promotions, transfers, and job and pay changes
- Lead new hire onboarding from offer acceptance through day one, including new hire paperwork and orientation
- HR Operations and Compliance
- Own the I-9 and E-Verify process for all new hires, including completing, maintaining, and storing records so everything stays accurate, compliant, and audit ready
- Maintain accurate employee records in Paycor, including entering new hires, pay changes, job changes, terminations, etc.
- Build, maintain, and use HR reports in Paycor to provide information and help guide decisions
- Support the offboarding process by handling the administrative steps, including processing terminations in Paycor, preparing exit paperwork, collecting company property, and working with leaders when a backfill is needed
- Employee Support and Engagement
- Answer common employee questions about policies, benefits, and payroll, and escalate anything more complex to the HR Manager
- Partner with the HR Manager on benefits administration, serving as the go-to contact for day to day employee benefits questions and supporting open enrollment and new hire enrollments
- Send reminders and track completion for performance reviews, handbook acknowledgments, and other employee documents, following up with managers and employees as needed
- Help plan and coordinate employee events, engagement activities, and other company events throughout the year
- All other job duties and responsibilities as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Work experience that required strong organization, attention to detail, and working closely with people
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
- Clear, friendly communication style, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), quick to learn new systems, and comfortable exploring AI tools and finding practical, responsible ways to use them
- A team player who is curious, dependable, and takes initiative
- Able to keep multiple projects moving forward without losing track of the details
Nice to Have

- Experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system (Paycor is a plus)
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Interest in building a career in HR
