Hospitality Recruiter (Contract)

October 2, 2026
Remote, US

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Hospitality Recruiter (Contract) based in United States.

This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced hospitality recruiter who understands that strong staffing starts with quality talent, not simply filling shifts quickly.
You will help build a market-specific candidate pipeline across hospitality and event staffing roles, from servers and bartenders to banquet teams, cooks, housekeeping staff, and captains.
The role combines candidate sourcing, skills and credential screening, talent relationship building, and coordination with training and operations teams.
You will play an important part in developing a structured talent bench that distinguishes qualified candidates by experience, capabilities, and leadership potential.
The position also offers an opportunity to identify high-performing hospitality professionals for captain-track development and direct-hire opportunities.
As a non-exclusive working partnership, you can remain in your current role while contributing your market expertise and candidate network.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hospitality recruiting professional who values quality, understands operators’ expectations, and wants to help shape a more disciplined approach to hospitality talent acquisition.

Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain a strong hospitality candidate pipeline within your primary market across servers, bartenders, banquet staff, line cooks, housekeeping professionals, captains, and other hospitality roles.
  • Source candidates based on skills, experience, reliability, and suitability for specific hospitality environments rather than simply prioritizing speed of placement.
  • Pre-screen candidates for relevant hospitality experience, including banquet operations, service capabilities, and leadership potential.
  • Track candidate credentials and identify gaps related to certifications such as ServSafe and TIPS.
  • Develop and strengthen Spanish-language sourcing networks to expand access to qualified bilingual hospitality talent.
  • Identify hospitality professionals with strong floor-leadership potential and place them into an appropriate captain or leadership development track.
  • Coordinate with training leadership to move qualified candidates into relevant training cohorts and development cycles.
  • Identify high-performing temporary staff who may be strong candidates for direct-hire opportunities and facilitate the conversion process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information and pipeline activity using an ATS or comparable recruiting technology.
  • Develop relationships with hospitality professionals and continuously expand the local talent network.
  • Contribute industry knowledge and insights through content focused on hospitality recruiting and talent strategy.
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to understand staffing requirements and ensure candidate pipelines align with client expectations.
  • Help develop a scalable recruiting infrastructure that supports continued growth across multiple hospitality markets.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in hospitality recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Experience in environments such as hotel talent acquisition, hospitality staffing agencies, fine dining, country clubs or private clubs, convention centers, or comparable hospitality operations.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality roles, service standards, staffing requirements, and operator expectations.
  • Experience using an ATS such as Manatal, Bullhorn, Avionté, or a comparable recruiting platform.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills with an established hospitality talent network in at least one major market.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ServSafe and TIPS requirements and the ability to identify relevant credential gaps during screening.
  • Ability to assess candidates for technical hospitality skills, service experience, reliability, and leadership potential.
  • Strong understanding of the difference between simply filling a role and building a qualified, dependable hospitality workforce.
  • Excellent communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with training and operational teams.
  • Strong judgment and attention to detail when evaluating candidate quality and suitability.
  • Willingness to work as a non-exclusive recruiting partner while maintaining other professional responsibilities.
  • Established talent networks in markets such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, Savannah, Jacksonville, Nashville, Tampa, Orlando, or Miami are preferred.

Benefits

  • Contract-based, non-exclusive working partnership that allows you to maintain your current professional role.
  • Opportunity to participate in the growth of a developing hospitality and event staffing operation.
  • Ability to leverage and expand your existing hospitality talent network.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a structured, quality-focused recruiting model.
  • Participation in the upside when candidates from your network fill staffing opportunities.
  • Opportunities to identify and develop hospitality professionals for captain-track and direct-hire placements.
  • Ability to contribute your expertise to hospitality talent strategy and industry-focused content.
  • Flexible market-based recruiting model focused on building long-term candidate relationships.
