Position Overview

As the Driver Recruitment Manager, you will oversee driver recruiting efforts from sourcing and screening through onboarding and retention support. You will work closely with operations leadership to ensure hiring goals are met while maintaining a positive candidate experience that supports long-term driver success.

Key Responsibilities of a Driver Recruitment Manager

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified driver candidates.
  • Source applicants through job boards, social media platforms, referral programs, networking opportunities, and community partnerships.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and initial interviews.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective drivers.
  • Promote career opportunities and benefits of partnering with zTrip.
  • Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, open houses, and recruiting campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.

Onboarding & Candidate Success

  • Guide candidates through the onboarding process from application to activation.
  • Assist with licensing requirements, documentation, and qualification procedures.
  • Ensure candidates receive timely communication and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to facilitate successful onboarding and training.
  • Address onboarding challenges and identify solutions to improve completion rates.

Driver Engagement & Retention

  • Maintain regular communication with newly onboarded and active drivers.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings and check-ins to support long-term success.
  • Assist with driver retention initiatives and engagement programs.
  • Gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve the driver experience.
  • Support recognition programs and culture-building initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for driver questions and concerns.

Community Outreach & Networking

  • Build relationships with workforce development agencies, driving schools, training organizations, and community partners.
  • Represent zTrip at recruiting events, career fairs, networking functions, and local outreach initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships that generate a consistent flow of qualified candidates.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the zTrip brand within the community.

Recruiting Analytics & Reporting

  • Track recruiting performance metrics, hiring activity, and onboarding conversion rates.
  • Maintain recruiting databases and reporting tools.
  • Analyze hiring trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular recruiting updates and pipeline reports to leadership.
  • Support workforce planning through proactive talent pipeline management.

Qualifications of a Driver Recruitment Manager

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce development, staffing, human resources, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through various recruiting channels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and recruiting software.
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable representing the company at public events and networking functions.
  • Valid driver's license required.
