About the Role

Picture your day: you start by reviewing your outreach dashboard, triaging responses from last night’s campaigns, and lining up phone screens with promising CNC talent. Mid-morning, you huddle with a hiring manager to refine a Set-Up Technician profile and confirm shift priorities. After lunch, you’re in full outreach mode—personalized texts, targeted LinkedIn messages, FactoryFix campaigns, and calls to passive candidates. You wrap by updating pipelines, reporting on time-to-fill, and scheduling next steps so there’s no delay.

This onsite, full-cycle recruiting role is built for a high-urgency recruiter who can find and convert hard-to-reach talent across CNC Machinists, Operators, Set-Up Techs, Maintenance Technicians, and key support roles. You’ll blend human connection with AI-powered sourcing to keep our shop fully staffed and moving.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive proactive outreach to both active and passive candidates via text, email, phone, social channels, and local community networks.
  • Leverage AI recruiting platforms (e.g., FactoryFix) to discover, engage, screen, and schedule candidates at scale.
  • Build partnerships with local high schools, trade programs, workforce agencies, and Spanish-speaking community organizations to widen our reach.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, shifts, and ideal candidate profiles—and keep communication tight throughout the process.
  • Craft and maintain compelling, accurate job postings across Indeed, LinkedIn, FactoryFix, referrals, trade schools, community colleges, and manufacturing-specific boards.
  • Review applications daily, keep candidates moving with clear status updates, and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Maintain warm pipelines for recurring and high-priority openings.
  • Design creative strategies for niche and hard-to-fill shop roles.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial assessments for technical aptitude, history, shift flexibility, pay expectations, and culture alignment.
  • Track activity rigorously: applicant flow, interview progress, time-to-fill, and related metrics.
  • Keep records accurate and current across ATS and job boards; provide regular updates to leadership on hiring progress and challenges.
