This is more than a recruiting role. You will play a direct part in building a team of compassionate caregivers who help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. Pay: $20-22.00 per hour
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

Source, attract, and engage qualified caregiver candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community partnerships

Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support ongoing hiring needs

Conduct interviews

Review applications, assess qualifications, and guide candidates through the hiring process

Attend job fairs, recruiting events, nursing schools, and community outreach opportunities

Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in a competitive labor market

Manage job postings and ensure positions are effectively marketed
Onboarding & Training

Coordinate pre-employment processes including background screenings, reference checks, and documentation

Conduct new hire orientation classes

Maintain accurate employee files and onboarding records

Support caregiver training programs and compliance requirements

Ensure all hiring and onboarding activities follow applicable employment laws and company policies
Caregiver Engagement & Retention

Support employee recognition and retention initiatives

Build strong relationships with caregivers throughout their employment journey

Help create a positive employee experience from recruitment through ongoing engagement

Partner with operations and scheduling teams to ensure smooth caregiver placement and communication
Administrative & Team Support

Track recruiting metrics and hiring progress

Assist with recruiting budgets and hiring initiatives

Maintain recruiting systems, reports, and databases

Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of recruiting or talent acquisition

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through

Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology platforms

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for recruiting activities
Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting for healthcare, home care, staffing, senior care, or service industries

  • Experience conducting new hire orientation and employee onboarding
  • Associate's degree

Schedule

Full-Time

Monday-Friday

Occasional evenings or weekends for recruiting events as needed
Local travel within the San Antonio area required. Mileage reimbursement at $0.76 per mile.
