Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver a positive and seamless candidate experience. The Recruiter ensures compliance with company policies and employment laws while promoting the organization as an employer of choice.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house employees to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
Creates and updates job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational needs.
Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Prescreens candidates. Creates and presents prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.
Conducts phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, interest level, and cultural fit before advancing them in the process.
Prepares candidates for interviews by providing information about the role, interview process, and expectations.
Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
Organizes, leads, and documents post-interview feedback with interview teams and candidates.
Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference.
Extends offer of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds' compensation policy.
Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
Conducts follow-up calls and quality checks with hiring managers and new hires to ensure satisfaction with the recruitment process.
Maintains accurate and legally compliant documentation on candidates, searches, and recruiting activities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness.
Works cooperatively with all members of the recruitment team to develop and implement recruitment plans and activities.
Visits all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Language skills

Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
Ability to present new recruiting concepts and strategies to leadership and technical communities.

Mathematical skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, along with computing ratios, and percentages.

Reasoning ability

Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.

Computer skills

The utilization of computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably data base management.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline required.
2- 3 years’ experience in full lifecycle recruiting.
Willingness and ability to travel

Ability to develop a variety of reports from various data sources.

Perform any additional assignments as directed by supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to mechanical parts and condensed work areas.
The employee will also on occasion be on the production floor where he/she may be exposed to: dust particles and high dust levels, extreme heat, noise levels that are loud. (Safety protection will be provided)
The employee may spend 50% or more of their weekly work hours on the plant floor.

Pay Range: $73,000.00- $80,000.00
