Position Overview

TalentWise is seeking a Director of Recruiting & Business Development to help grow our commercial staffing and recruiting business.
This is a full-desk role combining business development, client relationship management, and recruiting.
The ideal candidate is comfortable generating new business, developing relationships with hiring managers and HR leaders, securing job orders, and recruiting qualified candidates to fill those opportunities.
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys the staffing industry, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and wants significant influence over the business they help create.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new staffing and recruiting clients.
Build relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, executives, and business owners.
Generate new job orders and staffing opportunities.
Conduct business development through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and professional relationships.
Present TalentWise's permanent placement, contract staffing, temporary staffing, and workforce solutions to prospective clients.
Manage client relationships from initial outreach through signed agreements, job orders, and placements.
Recruit, source, and screen qualified candidates for client openings.
Coordinate candidate submissions, interviews, offers, and placements.
Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients, job opportunities, candidates, and placements.
Partner with TalentWise leadership on pricing, proposals, account strategy, and business development.
Help establish recruiting and business-development processes as the company grows.
Support the future development and mentorship of additional recruiters as business volume increases.

Qualifications

Previous staffing agency, recruiting, sales, or business-development experience.
Full-desk recruiting experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop new business relationships.
Experience communicating with hiring managers, HR leaders, and decision-makers.
Existing professional relationships or the ability to develop a client network quickly.
Experience recruiting within HR, administrative, finance/accounting, IT, engineering, or other professional disciplines is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in helping build an early-stage staffing company.

Compensation

This is currently a commission-based position with no guaranteed base salary.
Compensation will be tied directly to business generated and successful placements, providing meaningful earning potential based on individual performance.
Additional performance-based bonuses may be available based on revenue, client development, placements, and overall contribution to TalentWise's growth.
As TalentWise develops consistent recurring revenue, there may be opportunities for expanded leadership responsibilities and an evolving long-term compensation structure.
Specific commission percentages, payment terms, and performance incentives will be discussed during the interview process.
