We are seeking a motivated, professional and detailed-oriented HR recruiter/assistant to join our Human Resources team. This role supports the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, helping ensure that candidates and new employees receive a positive, organized, and timely experience from initial contact through their first days of employment. In this position, the HR Recruiter/assistant will assist with sourcing and identifying qualified applicants, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, extending employment offers, tracking required clearances and documentation, supporting equipment and system setup, and helping new team members transition smoothly into their roles. The position requires a high level of organization, professionalism, confidentiality and follow-through.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who is comfortable working with applicants, employees, managers, and internal departments. This individual should be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, respond promptly to changing needs, and represent the organization in a courteous and professional manner.

Primary responsibilities include assisting with recruitment efforts to attract and hire qualified staff, maintaining an efficient and consistent onboarding process, supporting training and coaching initiatives, completing administrative duties accurately and on time, preparing concise reports, and protecting the confidentiality of employee, applicant and workplace information.

Requirements

The HR Recruiter/assistant should possess a strong combination of recruitment experience, human resources knowledge, administrative skill and professional judgment. This role requires an organized, detailed-oriented individual who can support the full recruitment process, assist with onboarding and employee related activities, and maintain a high level of confidentiality while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

minimum two years recruitment experience
strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates, employees, hiring managers and internal stakeholders
experience coordinating onboarding activities, including new hire orientation, required documentation and training support.
ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgment
working knowledge of applicable employment laws, HR regulations, policies, procedures and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, including word, excel, outlook and related business systems
experience using HRIS or payroll platforms; paylocity experience is preferred
excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines
willingness to attend off site recruitment events
high level of attention to detail and accuracy in recruitment, onboarding, documentation and HR administrative tasks.
ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
